BiographySoprano, Tracie Skeet-Brook, is a unique, passionate performer with strong acting abilities, vocal flexibility and the bel canto style to sing Spinto to Dramatic repertoire and now adding more Dramatic Coloratura repertoire from such operas as Il trovatore, La traviata, Ernani, Lucia di Lammermoor, Lucrezia Borgia, Beatrice di Tenda and more. She regularly performs German Lieder, French mélodies, Celtic music and produces, directs and stars in a Musical Theatre and Operatic concert series called "Broadway Showstoppers". Some of her past Opera credits include Fortuna (L’incoronazione di Poppea), Micaëla (Carmen), Countess (Le Nozze di Figaro), Marschallin (Der Rosenkavalier ) and Senta (Der Fliegende Holländer).

REPERTOIREThrough extensive training Tracie has developed her voice to a place where she feels comfortable singing Spinto, Light Dramatic and Full Dramatic Coloratura repertoire from such composers as Verdi, Donizetti, Puccini, R.Strauss, Wagner, Cilea, Bellini, Tchaikovsky, Dvořák, Massenet, Korngold, Beethoven, Handel and Mozart as well as the musical theatre stylings of Sondheim, Bernstein, Lloyd Webber, Kander and Ebb, Gershwin, Berlin and Ellington .

STAGE EXPERIENCETracie is constantly performing including numerous recitals of Opera arias, themes about Mothers, Christmas, Love, German Lieder and French mélodies from such fine composers as Strauss, Mahler, Schumann, Schubert, Fauré, Debussy, Gounod, Bizet and Berlioz, Italian bel canto art song stylings, Musical Theatre themed productions and various styles of Celtic music.
She also has considerable stage experience having had roles in several Plays and Musicals. |
